S.T.A.P.E.
The evolved PPMethod™ quality-control layer — a preflight and post-generation filter that tests whether a scene's components agree. Associated with the PPMethod Consensus Protocol v2.0.
A note on the name
The historical letter-by-letter expansion of S.T.A.P.E. has not been verified in the house's source material, so none is claimed here. The acronym is preserved as-is. The five review gates below are a practical, implementation-oriented explanation — not an official spelling of the acronym.
The five review gates
Run every scene through all five. A scene ships only when nothing contradicts anything else.
1 · Subject & story coherence
The intended person, action, mood and narrative purpose remain unmistakable.
2 · Technical & temporal continuity
Camera, anatomy, lighting, motion and identities remain consistent through the shot.
3 · Atmosphere & aesthetics
Color, weather, haze, sound and composition reinforce the desired emotional world.
4 · Physics & pixel agreement
Contact, shadows, reflections, cloth, hair, jewelry and environmental effects behave consistently.
5 · Execution & evaluation
Output matches duration, aspect ratio, brand rules, scene constraints and final-frame requirements.
Consensus v2.0
No subsystem should contradict the others: light must agree with material, motion with physics, camera with scale, and atmosphere with emotion. If one gate fails, revise the smallest responsible component before regenerating — never the whole scene.
